Have just learnt of the sad news that Norman Smith died last week. I met him a few times during the time my father worked with him in the 70's and remember him to be a friendly man. He has always been a major part of my life due to the connection with my dad and 'Oh babe what would you say'.There is a very nice obituary on timesonline.
